The Young, the old and the blonde

I get a text yesterday from my cousin who asked if I could take her 15 year old son and her 90 year old great aunt to the mall.  I said ok thinking it'd be easy.  What was I thinking?  The mall was actually slow.  Well, her 88 year old grandma and 13 year old daughter wanted to go.  Ok again how hard could it be.  Boy was I ever wrong.  The 13 year old and the 88 year old and I were sitting down and the 88 year old says, "I am going to Victoria Secret to find something sexy."  The women proceeded to go in and out of the store 3 times before buying a sweatshirt from them.  Um really, seriously you're kidding right.  I think the 13 year old and I are scared for life.  It was the funniest thing ever.

Oh, you offended. I'm not sorry.

So it offends you when people say Merry Christmas. Maybe you should wear a sign saying that you don't like it. I think that you should also wear a shirt with a list of things that also offend you so that no one will talk to you.  I'm mean really we are not mind readers so how the chili butt am I suppose to know what offends you.  I for one avoid places where I could be offended. Oh like an operating room. Wait that just grosses me out.  All that blood and metal. It gives me the willies.

So put your adult pants on and move on. Get over it. You live in the land of the free so suck it up or move to Cuba or maybe an isolated island. Those places you can't just say anything or you can make your own rules.

There is Christ in Christmas so move on. It was there way before you were even thought of. As far as I know it's been around for 2000 plus years. Good luck finding a place on this planet where people don't say it.

Babysitting a 4.5 month old and doing a vendor event at night = hot mess

I thought it was a wonderful idea to sign up for a vendor event at night with the candles. Normally not a bad idea. But I babysit a 4.5 month old. Anybody who thinks taking care of a bay is easy is oh so wrong.  I don't know how parents of it. It takes me 12 hours to get out of the house with the baby I watch.

I look at it like this. There are 3 stages:needy, hot messes, and fun. Needy are the babies. They need everything done for them, like feeding them and changing them. Then there are the hot messes, ages 3 to about 8. They still need their food cut, faces willed after eating(because they leave stuff when they do it), and they still need their butts wiped on occasion.   Not to mention the melt downs they have.  Then theirs the fun stage. Anything after the age of 10 or so. You can actually do fun things and not worry about cutting food or wiping faces. You just have to feed them.

Social media and me

Oh yea. I have been on Facebook a lot. Twitter not as much and here this blog not at all lately. What happened you all ask. Well me and babysitting happened. Not to mention something called Gold Canyon Candles.

It's amazing how much energy a baby takes. You have energy in your 20s and but the time your 40 it's no energy. Not to mention some of the things you need for a baby. It's like your moving out when you go out for 1 hour. It takes me 6 hours to get everything together. They need more stuff then a woman does and she carries a suitcase.
